The Holden VF Commodore that will contest the 2013 V8 Supercars Championship has been revealed. It will be up against the new comers in Mercedes-Benz and Nissan although Nissan was around in the nineties.
Three of the teams are currently showing their new cars for the race season. This will be a season that will see more than just Ford and Holden competing.
All VF Commodore racers are built around the same chassis, with changes between teams centering largely on the powertrain and set up options.
The front of the V8 Supercar VF Commodore shows a clear similarity to the Commodore SS and American Chevrolet SS but with a wider front grille and larger lower air intake, the V8 Supercar model hypes up the aggression level compared with the production Holden VF Commodore and Calais V-Series.
